Michael Savage Makes Some Good Points

Michael Savage, the wild man of talk radio these days, recently went off on Jeb Bush.  I think he’s probably wrong about Bush being down for the count, but it doesn’t matter.  What’s more important is what he has been saying for some months about a third party.  Read for yourself:

Welcome to “The Michael Savage Newsletter,” your daily insider report on all things “Savage.”

In today’s issue: Dr. Savage never reserves his ire for the Democratic Party. He’s an equal-opportunity critic who targets the Republicans as well.

While he’s convinced that America will be spared another Bush in the White House, at least in the short term, Savage says the GOP “gangsters” are “laughing at us” for continuing to trust them.

“The only good news is that fraud Jeb Bush is finished,” Savage told his audience.

He’s fallen behind even that nobody, Marco Rubio.

The Bush name is now the third rail of American politics.

Then again, with illegal aliens voting, it could be a Bush versus Clinton contest, and it wouldn’t matter whether the rest of us vote or not.

I’ve talked before about starting a third party, the Nationalist Party, if I thought I had 20 more years to get it off the ground.

If I did that, however, there would be no Republicans elected for 20 years, because voters would defect from the GOP to the new party, and that would just add votes to the Democratic Party machine.

So it’s not a good idea to create a third party.

That’s the same reason these frauds and criminals have us right where they want us.

The gangster Republican Party have lied to the conservative voter then told them, “Drop dead, we don’t need you for another four years.”

They’re laughing at us.

They’re worse than the Democrats.

Savage makes a good point – we do need a third party.

My first question is, “Where the hell was Michael Savage twenty years ago?”  That was 1995.  Why wasn’t he involved in creating a third party then?  It was just as needed, and there were a lot of us who recognized it.  That’s why Howard Phillips started the Taxpayers Party (now the Constitution Party)1 .  One reason the Constitution Party has not been able to get traction is because so many people who call them conservatives did not have the foresight to get on board when they were needed.  You’ve had twenty years to get on that bandwagon, and you ignored it.  Thanks for nothing, Michael Savage.

Savage makes a good second point – it’s too late.

After all the work put into creating a party that was designed for the Tea Party movement, the CP could not sell itself to them.  They have been co-opted by the GOP.  Congrats to the Roves and Bushes on that job of stealing the rhetoric and undermining the principles.  Another job well done.

One does not create a functional political party in one election cycle.  It takes years, it takes a lot of dedicated people, it takes large amounts of money, and it takes something the smaller parties have never gotten – a tidal wave of public opinion.  The Constitution Party has none of those four elements in sufficient amounts to make it happen.  Nor would a new “Savage Party” have the time to make it happen.

That being said, we have to ask ourselves, “When is it wrong to do the right thing?”  Just get started, Doc.  If you start now, and if Jeb Bush is the Republican nominee (as I think he will be), then Americans will be looking for an alternative.  And as Savage points out, it won’t make a lick of difference between the socialist parties whether it’s Jeb or Hillary in the White House.  Maybe Savage’s “Nationalist Party” could actually elect a dozen congressmen and we could start the movement toward breaking up the duopoly of Socialist Parties A and B.  Put your money where your mouth is.

We also have to ask another question – “If the process for electing a president is really so beyond the control of we, the people, then is there anything we CAN do, this side of secession and a bloody revolution?” 2  The answer is a simple one – “Yes.”

There is another course, not yet considered by Dr. Savage.

First, consider that county offices and state legislatures are still within our reach.  While some incumbents are unbeatable (for now), there is a way we could pull off a silent (and lawful) revolution, taking back our sheriffs, our county courts, and even our state legislatures!  And if we were to do that, look at practical result – the federal government would suddenly face an INFORMED army of state and county officials ready to implement a return to constitutional law, and act as a roadblock to a runaway national government!

“Nullification” would become the word of the decade, and we just might salvage the country before the professional political leaders take us all down the toilet.

It starts with ten friends, willing to go to war.  It will take a little time – very little, but that’s about it.  No large expenditures of cash.  No huge organization with stacks of paperwork.  Just you and your ten friends are going to create your own party.  You aren’t asking permission from anyone, you’re simply going to exercise what is both your “right” as a free citizen, and your “civic duty”.

Your little team of ten, which you can assemble in one week, in one meeting, really, is going to get themselves each a team of ten voters, and those guys are going to repeat the process.  How hard does that sound?  Your team will take it two layers deep.  Are we asking the impossible here?  You think you have no say in things?  When you and your ten friends, and their hundred friends, and their thousand friends all vote as a single bloc, across party lines, to elect Peoples’ Candidates, you will suddenly have a huge voice.  In fact, you will have in your hands the ability to break the back of the ruling powers elite which hand-picks candidates and elects candidates they can control for “business as usual”.

In less than a month it is theoretically possible to have a voting bloc of 1,100 or more voters, all ready to support the right candidates.  We don’t need twenty years.  We need organization and motivation.

Go to the website of the Secretary of State and look at the historical results of elections past.  See how many of them were decided by fewer than 1,000 votes.  You will own the swing vote, if not the entire process in a very short time!

You’ll want a little guidance.  But you’ll be an autonomous bloc of voters, not owned by the Republicans, nor the Democrats, nor the Tea Party.  YOU and your team will determine whom you vote for (or against), and they WILL listen to you.

Nobody can infiltrate your party – it’s yours.  And you cannot infiltrate someone else’s.  But you can cooperate and work together, doubling your influence with a phone call.  If I were the leadership of the major parties, I would be very, very opposed to you learning about this idea!

We don’t need pep rallies (or state conventions).  Those things take money and time.  They make a lot of noise.  They keep people busy, but they don’t take back the process.  They are a pressure group.  Whereas you are… well, you are building an action group for political guerilla warfare.

Instead of focusing on candidates, how about we each build a small machine that WE can depend on, then use that team to put the best candidates in office?  But the focus must be on the Team.  Go to www.ICVUSA.com to study how to do this – it’s all laid out for you, and while you’re there, sign up for updates.

Supreme Court Justice Anthony Scalia just stated that without the Constitution, we may as well be living in Zimbabwe.  And he also pointed out that it was the 17th Amendment to the Constitution that destroyed the balance of power between the States, the People, and the Servant they created with that document – the Federal Government.

We must repeal the 17th, because a Republic is impossible as long as it is in place.  And that means we must elect a legislature next year comprised of men and women who understand that their duty is to repeal the 17th.

If you can build a series of small teams of voters in your county or district, you can throw out the power elites and put in constitutional candidates for the first time in a LONG time.  And if you can do that, then they can start rebuilding our Republic.

Notes:

1 I had the honor of being present at a national committee meeting in Miami, Florida, where I made the motion to change the name.  Mr. Phillips was not amused, but he eventually came over to my position and even thanked me for it.

2 Both are going to become viable options over the next few years.
