Everyone\u2014and I mean everyone\u2014in politics and the news media knows that Israel is untouchable. That\u2019s assuming the politician or media personality wants to keep their job, of course.<\/p>\n
I was first introduced to this reality back in the mid-1990s when a U.S. Congressman told me in a private conversation that Israel is the \u201cthird rail\u201d of politics. I was so na\u00efve at the time that I had to go look up the term to understand what he meant. But there is not a political figure of any kind that doesn\u2019t know and completely understand what that congressman was telling me.<\/p>\n
And, tragically, the fear of touching the \u201cthird rail\u201d also permeates the hearts and minds of conservative commentators, bloggers, talk show hosts, television personalities and preachers\u2014you know: the ones who try to pretend how brave they are.<\/p>\n
The mere fact that Israel is the \u201cthird rail\u201d of politics should tell you all you need to know.<\/p>\n
Since almost no one will alert you to the news items contained in this column, it falls on me to once again fill the void. Each of these news accounts illustrates the immense power and influence that Israel wields in U.S. and international affairs.<\/p>\n
Congressman Ted Deutch (D-FL) resigns Congress to lead the American Jewish Committee<\/b><\/p>\n
The Hill<\/i> covers the story:<\/a><\/p>\n Rep. Ted Deutch\u00a0<\/a>(D-Fla.) officially submitted his resignation letter on Friday, as he leaves Congress to go lead the American Jewish Committee.<\/p>\n Deutch, who first began serving in Congress in 2010, announced in February that he was leaving the lower chamber<\/a> to become CEO of the American Jewish Committee, an [Zionist] advocacy organization.<\/p>\n I have documented<\/a> the immensity of the Israeli lobby in Washington, D.C., several times. In a nutshell, the Israeli lobby is the largest and most powerful lobby in Washington by far<\/b>. <\/b>In fact, the Israeli lobby is larger and more powerful than all of the other lobby groups put together<\/b>.<\/p>\n I have also documented how there are more than one hundred members of the U.S. government (that we know of) that are dual citizens: U.S. and Israeli.<\/p>\n Now another powerful politician will join the Israeli lobby to influence the U.S. government, State governments and Big Business to dole out favors and money\u2014LOTS of money\u2014to Zionist causes.<\/p>\n One could make the argument that U.S. (and European) politicians are themselves<\/i> Israeli lobbyists. And that same argument could be made for 80% of America\u2019s pastors, radio preachers and televangelists. Ditto for the vast majority of America\u2019s newspaper editors, radio newscasters and television news anchors and talking heads.<\/p>\n The only nationally syndicated newspaper columnist I can recall who was NOT bought and paid for by the Israeli lobby was Charley Reese. But newspapers are so completely dominated by Zionists now that even a columnist as good as Charley would never be allowed to have a national platform today.<\/p>\n Name any other country that enjoys such influence. There are none.<\/p>\n And before leaving this section, please notice that Congressman Deutch is a Democrat.<\/p>\n Evangelicals have this idiotic idea that the Democrat Party is anti-Israel and the Republican Party is pro-Israel. Boy, have they been duped!<\/p>\n Washington, in all of its gruesome glory, is pro-Zionist from head to toe. The numbers of politicians in DC who might<\/i> even be neutral<\/b> on the issue could fit in an old-fashioned phone booth. The Israeli lobby thoroughly controls both political parties across the board.<\/p>\n New U.K. Prime Minister Liz Truss declares that she is a \u201chuge Zionist.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n From Fox News<\/i>:<\/a><\/p>\n U.K. Prime Minister Liz Truss stated that she is a “huge Zionist and huge supporter of Israel.\u201d<\/p>\n Truss made the comments during a Conservative Party conference in Birmingham on Sunday, saying her new administration sought to continue to strengthen Britain’s relationship with Israel.<\/p>\n \u201cThe UK and Israel need to stand shoulder to shoulder and we will be even closer in the future,” she continued.<\/p>\n \u201cEven closer\u201d? Are you kidding? The only way Great Britain or the United States\u2019 government could get any \u201ccloser\u201d to Israel would be to formally make Tel Aviv the capital. And for all intents and purposes, it already is.<\/p>\n Israeli newspaper names most influential Jew of 2022<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n Here is the report:<\/a><\/p>\n Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is the most influential Jew of 2022, according to the Jerusalem Post, which published<\/a> its list on Sunday. Describing the former comedian as an \u201cicon<\/i>,\u201d the outlet hailed his use of \u201cthe media and diplomacy<\/i>\u201d to turn the West against Russia and its president.<\/p>\n Zelensky\u2019s command of \u201cmedia<\/i>\u201d \u2013 the word \u2018propaganda\u2019 is not used \u2013 is so great that it convinced the US and Europe to revile not only President Vladimir Putin, but all things hailing from the country, from Russian athletes to Russian blue cats. He got Sweden and Finland to discard decades of military neutrality and apply for NATO membership, and inspired the EU to drop its policy of not arming nations involved in conflict. Nearly the entire bloc was persuaded to sanction Russian oil and gas producers, even though it has driven prices to record highs and wreaked havoc on their economies.<\/p>\n The outlet acknowledges Zelensky \u201cdownplayed<\/i>\u201d his Jewishness during his run for president in 2019, banking instead on playing a likable president on TV. Indeed, in a country where Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera is now officially declared a hero and where neo-Nazi groups are formally incorporated in the military, focusing on his ethnicity was unlikely to help his campaign.<\/p>\n However, the Ukrainian leader has since made that identity central to his narrative, insisting it is absurd to speak of \u201cde-Nazifying<\/i>\u201d a country with a Jewish president and likening Russia\u2019s aims in Ukraine to those of Hitler\u2019s \u2018Final Solution\u2019.<\/p>\n Talk about power and influence!<\/p>\n As a global Zionist leader, Zelensky has the global Zionist machine at his beckon call, including Western governmental leaders, the Western news media, the Western entertainment industry, the Western education establishment and, even more importantly, over 80% of Western evangelicals.<\/p>\n You still don\u2019t believe that Zionism is the<\/b> dominant influence in Western politics?
