Here are The Powers, enumerated unto the Federal Government.\u00a0 Depends on how you divide some of them, how many you get.\u00a0 Some people get 18.\u00a0 I get 22.\u00a0 (This list is taken from Wickipedia, http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Enumerated_powers<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution lists the powers as:<\/p>\n

20.\u00a0 To govern the District of Columbia.<\/p>\n

21.\u00a0 To maintain forts, arsenals, dockyards, etc., for military purposes.<\/p>\n

and to exercise like authority over all places purchased by the consent of the legislature of the state in which the same shall be, for the erection of forts<\/a>, magazines<\/a>, arsenals<\/a>, dockyards<\/a>, and other needful buildings;\u00adAnd<\/em><\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

22.\u00a0 To enact all laws necessary to do all the above.\u00a0 And nothing else.\u00a0 (See 9th and 10th Articles of the Bill of Rights.)<\/p>\n

To make all laws which shall be necessary and proper<\/a> for carrying into execution the foregoing powers, and all other powers vested by this Constitution in the government of the United States, or in any department or officer thereof.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

If your congressman (representative or senator) votes for anything else, anything not on this list, then he\/she is derelict of duty, and is disobedient, not only to you, but to his\/her oath of allegiance to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, and it’s time to bring them home.\u00a0 ONE VOTE for anything not on this list, and they’re fired!!!<\/p>\n

The Founders could not overemphasize this.\u00a0 They said it twice in the Bill of Rights.<\/p>\n

9th Article, Bill of Rights:
\nThe enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/span>10th Article, Bill of Rights:
\n“<\/strong><\/span> The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
