{"id":537,"date":"2015-05-13T23:00:22","date_gmt":"2015-05-14T04:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/independentconservativevoters.com\/icv\/?p=537"},"modified":"2015-05-13T23:00:22","modified_gmt":"2015-05-14T04:00:22","slug":"michael-savage-makes-some-good-points","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/independentconservativevoters.com\/icv\/2015\/05\/michael-savage-makes-some-good-points.html","title":{"rendered":"Michael Savage Makes Some Good Points"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Michael Savage, the wild man of talk radio these days,  recently went off on Jeb Bush.\u00a0 I think  he&rsquo;s probably wrong about Bush being down for the count, but it doesn&rsquo;t  matter.\u00a0 What&rsquo;s more important is what he  has been saying for some months about a third party.\u00a0 Read for yourself:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Welcome to &ldquo;<strong>The Michael  Savage Newsletter<\/strong>,&rdquo; your daily insider report on all things &ldquo;Savage.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/independentconservativevoters.com\/icv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/130315215748-jeb-bush-cpac-story-top-e1431575830474.jpg\" height=\"200\" hspace=\"10\" border=\"0\" align=\"right\">In today&rsquo;s issue: Dr. Savage never reserves his ire for the Democratic  Party. He&rsquo;s an equal-opportunity critic who targets the Republicans as well.<\/p>\n<p>While he&rsquo;s convinced that America will be spared another Bush in  the White House, at least in the short term, Savage says the GOP &ldquo;gangsters&rdquo;  are &ldquo;laughing at us&rdquo; for continuing to trust them.<\/p>\n<p> &ldquo;The only good news is that fraud Jeb Bush is finished,&rdquo; Savage  told his audience.<\/p>\n<p> <em>He&rsquo;s fallen behind even that nobody, Marco Rubio.<\/em> <\/p>\n<p><em>The Bush name is now the third rail of American politics.<\/em> <\/p>\n<p><em>Then again, with illegal aliens voting, it could be a Bush  versus Clinton contest, and it wouldn&rsquo;t matter whether the rest of us vote or  not.<\/em> <\/p>\n<p><em>I&rsquo;ve talked before about starting a third party, the Nationalist  Party, if I thought I had 20 more years to get it off the ground.<\/em> <\/p>\n<p><em>If I did that, however, there would be no Republicans elected  for 20 years, because voters would defect from the GOP to the new party, and  that would just add votes to the Democratic Party machine.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>So it&rsquo;s not a good idea to create a third party.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>That&rsquo;s the same reason these frauds and criminals have us right  where they want us.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The gangster Republican Party have lied to the conservative  voter then told them, &ldquo;Drop dead, we don&rsquo;t need you for another four years.&rdquo;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>They&rsquo;re laughing at us.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>They&rsquo;re worse than the Democrats.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.michaelsavage.wnd.com\/2015\/04\/michael-savage-newsletter-only-good-news-is-that-fraud-jeb-bush-is-finished\/\">http:\/\/www.michaelsavage.wnd.com\/2015\/04\/michael-savage-newsletter-only-good-news-is-that-fraud-jeb-bush-is-finished\/<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Savage makes a good point \u2013 we do need a third party.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>My first question is, &ldquo;Where the hell was Michael Savage  twenty years ago?&rdquo;\u00a0 That was 1995.\u00a0 Why wasn&rsquo;t he involved in creating a third  party then?\u00a0 It was just as needed, and  there were a lot of us who recognized it.\u00a0  That&rsquo;s why Howard Phillips started the Taxpayers Party (now the  Constitution Party)<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\" title=\"\">1 <\/a>.\u00a0 One reason the Constitution Party has not  been able to get traction is because so many people who call them conservatives  did not have the foresight to get on board when they were needed.\u00a0 You&rsquo;ve had twenty years to get on that  bandwagon, and you ignored it.\u00a0 Thanks  for nothing, Michael Savage.<\/p>\n<p>Savage makes a good second point \u2013 it&rsquo;s too late.<\/p>\n<p>After all the work put into creating a party that was  designed for the Tea Party movement, the CP could not sell itself to them.\u00a0 They have been co-opted by the GOP.\u00a0 Congrats to the Roves and Bushes on that job  of stealing the rhetoric and undermining the principles.\u00a0 Another job well done.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>One does not create a functional political party in one  election cycle.\u00a0 It takes years, it takes  a lot of dedicated people, it takes large amounts of money, and it takes  something the smaller parties have never gotten \u2013 a tidal wave of public opinion.\u00a0 The Constitution Party has none of those four  elements in sufficient amounts to make it happen.\u00a0 Nor would a new &ldquo;Savage Party&rdquo; have the time  to make it happen.<\/p>\n<p>That being said, we have to ask ourselves, &ldquo;When is it wrong  to do the right thing?&rdquo;\u00a0 Just get  started, Doc. \u00a0If you start now, and if  Jeb Bush is the Republican nominee (as I think he will be), then Americans will  be looking for an alternative.\u00a0 And as  Savage points out, it won&rsquo;t make a lick of difference between the socialist  parties whether it&rsquo;s Jeb or Hillary in the White House.\u00a0 Maybe Savage&rsquo;s &ldquo;Nationalist Party&rdquo; could  actually elect a dozen congressmen and we could start the movement toward  breaking up the duopoly of Socialist Parties A and B.\u00a0 Put your money where your mouth is.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>We also have to ask another question \u2013 &ldquo;If the process for  electing a president is really so beyond the control of we, the people, then is  there anything we CAN do, this side of secession and a bloody revolution?&rdquo;<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\" title=\"\"> 2<\/a>\u00a0 The answer is a simple one \u2013 &ldquo;Yes.&rdquo;\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>There is another course, not yet considered by Dr. Savage.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>First, consider that county offices and state legislatures  are still within our reach.\u00a0 While some  incumbents are unbeatable (for now), there <u>is<\/u> a way we could pull off a  silent (and lawful) revolution, taking back our sheriffs, our county courts, and  even our state legislatures!\u00a0 And if we  were to do that, look at practical result \u2013 the federal government would  suddenly face an INFORMED army of state and county officials ready to implement  a return to constitutional law, and act as a roadblock to a runaway national  government!\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Nullification&rdquo; would become the word of the decade, and we  just might salvage the country before the professional political leaders take  us all down the toilet. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It starts with ten friends, willing to go to war.\u00a0 It will take a little time \u2013 very little, but  that&rsquo;s about it.\u00a0 No large expenditures  of cash.\u00a0 No huge organization with  stacks of paperwork.\u00a0 Just you and your  ten friends are going to create your own party.\u00a0  You aren&rsquo;t asking permission from anyone, you&rsquo;re simply going to  exercise what is both your &ldquo;right&rdquo; as a free citizen, and your &ldquo;civic duty&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>Your little team of ten, which you can assemble in one week,  in one meeting, really, is going to get themselves each a team of ten voters,  and those guys are going to repeat the process.\u00a0  How hard does that sound?\u00a0 Your  team will take it two layers deep.\u00a0 Are  we asking the impossible here?\u00a0 You think  you have no say in things?\u00a0 When you and  your ten friends, and their hundred friends, and their thousand friends all  vote as a single bloc, across party lines, to elect Peoples&rsquo; Candidates, you  will suddenly have a huge voice.\u00a0 In  fact, you will have in your hands the ability to break the back of the ruling  powers elite which hand-picks candidates and elects candidates they can control  for &ldquo;business as usual&rdquo;.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>In less than a month it is theoretically possible to have a  voting bloc of 1,100 or more voters, all ready to support the right  candidates.\u00a0 We don&rsquo;t need twenty  years.\u00a0 We need organization and motivation.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>Go to the website of the Secretary of State and look at the  historical results of elections past.\u00a0  See how many of them were decided by fewer than 1,000 votes.\u00a0 You will own the swing vote, if not the  entire process in a very short time!<\/p>\n<p>You&rsquo;ll want a little guidance.\u00a0 But you&rsquo;ll be an autonomous bloc of voters,  not owned by the Republicans, nor the Democrats, nor the Tea Party.\u00a0 YOU and your team will determine whom you  vote for (or against), and they WILL listen to you.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>Nobody can infiltrate your party \u2013 it&rsquo;s yours.\u00a0 And you cannot infiltrate someone  else&rsquo;s.\u00a0 But you can cooperate and work  together, doubling your influence with a phone call.\u00a0 If I were the leadership of the major  parties, I would be very, very opposed to you learning about this idea!<\/p>\n<p>We don&rsquo;t need pep rallies (or state conventions).\u00a0 Those things take money and time.\u00a0 They make a lot of noise.\u00a0 They keep people busy, but they don&rsquo;t take  back the process.\u00a0 They are a pressure  group.\u00a0 Whereas you are\u2026 well, you are  building an action group for political guerilla warfare.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>Instead of focusing on candidates, how about we each build a  small machine that WE can depend on, then use that team to put the best  candidates in office?\u00a0 But the focus must  be on the Team.\u00a0 Go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ICVUSA.com\">www.ICVUSA.com<\/a> to study how to do this \u2013 it&rsquo;s  all laid out for you, and while you&rsquo;re there, sign up for updates.<\/p>\n<p>Supreme Court Justice Anthony Scalia just stated that  without the Constitution, we may as well be living in Zimbabwe.\u00a0 And he also pointed out that it was the 17th  Amendment to the Constitution that destroyed the balance of power between the  States, the People, and the Servant they created with that document \u2013 the  Federal Government.<\/p>\n<p>We must repeal the 17th, because a Republic is  impossible as long as it is in place.\u00a0  And that means we must elect a legislature next year comprised of men  and women who understand that their duty is to repeal the 17th.<\/p>\n<p>If  you can build a series of small teams of voters in your county or district, you  can throw out the power elites and put in constitutional candidates for the  first time in a LONG time.\u00a0 And if you  can do that, then they can start rebuilding our Republic.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<div id=\"ftn1\">\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\" title=\"\"> 1<\/a> I had the honor of being present at a national committee meeting in Miami,  Florida, where I made the motion to change the name.\u00a0 Mr. Phillips was not amused, but he  eventually came over to my position and even thanked me for it.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"ftn2\">\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref2\" name=\"_ftn2\" title=\"\"> 2<\/a> Both are going to become viable options over the next few years.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"float: right;
